Just got back from a few days in Cologne, mainly to visit the Intermot bike show. An easy trip for the Pan European as Cologne is closer to home than is John O'Groats. Good weather there and good weather back, but in between, well, enough said! Star of the show was the new BMW GS (see New BMW 1200 GS report ). As for food, ham knuckle and sauerkraut predominated, and early nights, too as after 10 pm at night, the city centre just died...no one to be seen! No music, no life, and NO CHIPPIES!
